Accessibility Statement

Last updated: 27 April 2026

Our Commitment

Shrewsbury Town Football Club is committed to making its website accessible to the widest possible audience, regardless of technology or ability. We aim to comply with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA.

We believe that every supporter should be able to access news, buy tickets and engage with the club online, regardless of any disability or impairment. Accessibility is an ongoing priority and we continue to invest in improvements.

What We Are Doing

We have taken steps to ensure that the website is accessible, including: providing text alternatives for non-text content, ensuring sufficient colour contrast for text, making all functionality available from a keyboard, providing clear navigation and consistent layouts, and using semantic HTML to support assistive technologies.

We test the website using automated tools and manual review with assistive technologies including screen readers. Where we identify accessibility issues we aim to resolve them promptly.

Known Limitations

Some third-party content embedded on our website — such as video players, social media feeds or mapping tools — may not fully meet our accessibility standards. We are working with our suppliers to improve this where possible.

Feedback & Contact

If you experience any accessibility issues on this website or require content in an alternative format, please contact us at accessibility@shrewsburytown.com or by telephone on 01743 289 177. We aim to respond within five working days.
