Getting to The Croud Meadow - Oteley Road, Shrewsbury, SY2 6ST
By car
By car Leave the M54 and continue onto the A5. After about seven miles, bear left at the roundabout junction with the A49, staying on the A5. At the next roundabout, take the third exit onto the B4380 (Thieves Lane). Carry straight on over two roundabouts and you'll come onto Oteley Road — the ground is ahead on your left. Turn in at the traffic lights. Please note the stadium car park is for permit holders only. The best matchday options are: Park & Walk — Meole Brace Park & Walk (SY3 9NB, £5 cash) is around a 10–15 minute walk from the ground. Park & Ride — the Meole Brace Park & Ride site is signed from the A5 at the Meole Brace junction. Parking is free, with buses running to the town centre every 12–20 minutes, Monday to Saturday (note: the car park is locked after the last bus, around 6:40pm, and closed on Sundays and bank holidays — so check it suits your fixture's kick-off time). Please don't park in the retail park or on nearby residential streets — matchday parking restrictions are enforced.
On foot
On foot from the railway station The ground is about 2 miles from Shrewsbury station — a 40–45 minute walk. Leave the station and head down Castle Gates into the town centre, continuing through town and down Wyle Cop. Cross the river at the English Bridge (or the Greyfriars footbridge from Longden Coleham), then follow Belle Vue Road and Hereford Road for about a mile to the Meole Brace roundabout. Take the Oteley Road exit and the stadium is ahead of you. By bus A matchday shuttle runs from Shrewsbury bus station (SY1 1PL) — times are on the club website. Alternatively, the Meole Brace Park & Ride bus runs from the town centre (Mon–Sat) to the Park & Ride site, about a 15 minute walk from the ground.
