Barry Davies

Everyone at Shrewsbury Town is deeply saddened to learn of the passing of Barry Davies.

Barry was a former committee member of the Official Supporters Club and sold Golden Gamble tickets and matchday programmes for many years.

Working at both Gay Meadow and our current home, Barry dedicated an incredible amount of time to improving the supporter experience at the football club.

His funeral is taking place today, with the service being held at Crowmoor Baptist Church, Crowmere Road, Shrewsbury, SY2 5JJ at 12.30pm.

Donned in blue and amber, the procession will visit the Croud Meadow before heading to the Crematorium at 2pm.

Refreshments will be provided at Crowmoor Baptist Church after his committal.
