Fixtures for the 2025/26 campaign revealed

The fixtures for the 2025/26 season are out - with Shrewsbury kicking things off with a home clash against Bromley.

The opening day fixture will be the first time the two teams have met in a competitive game - with Andy Woodman's side arriving at the Croud Meadow on Saturday, August 2.

One week later, our first away match of the campaign will see us travel to Tranmere Rovers on August 9.

A home game against Colchester United (August 16) will follow before back-to-back away matches at Notts County (August 19) and Swindon Town (August 23).

In between the games against Tranmere and Colchester, the first round of the Carabao Cup will take place - with the draw taking place later today.

We close the opening month with a home clash against Accrington Stanley (August 30).

Our festive fixtures see us host Chesterfield on December 20 before heading to Cheltenham on Boxing Day.

We then travel to Grimsby on December 29 before welcoming Bristol Rovers to the Croud Meadow on New Year's Day.

Our Easter matches see Tranmere arrive in Shropshire on Good Friday. We then travel to Bromley on Easter Monday.

Our first local clash of the season against Walsall will take place at the Bescot Stadium on December 13.

The return fixture will take place at the Croud Meadow on February 28.

The regular 46-game league season will end with a trip to Gillingham on May 2.

All fixtures are subject to change, with any alterations announced via the website and on social media.
