Jack Loughran joins Redditch United on loan

Third-year scholar Jack Loughran has joined Redditch United on a work experience loan.

The teenager goes straight into the squad for tonight's Southern Premier League clash with league leaders Harborough Town.

Jack had spent the 2025/26 season on loan at Shifnal Town, where he featured in almost every game since joining in August and scored six goals, while also providing a handful of assists from right wing.

Everyone at Shrewsbury Town Academy would like to thank Shifnal for the platform they gave to Jack and we wish them all the best for the remainder of the campaign.

Redditch are currently third in the Southern Premier League and will be hoping to secure promotion to the National League North come the end of the season.
