Longmynd Travel to sponsor sleeve for FA Cup tie against Wolves
Shrewsbury Town will proudly display the Longmynd Travel logo on their shirt sleeve when they face Wolves in the FA Cup third round tomorrow.
Town head to Molineux looking to spring an upset against their West Midlands rivals, and will do so with the backing of one of their most loyal sponsors.
Longmynd Travel have been associated with the club for more than 15 years, with managing director Val Sheppard-Evans - a lifelong Salop supporter - providing the first-team coach for all away matches for over a decade.
Commercial Manager Steve Maden said: "Longmynd Travel are longstanding sponsors of the club and we're incredibly grateful they've once again chosen to support us by displaying their logo on our shirt sleeves for this huge FA Cup tie.
"It's a game we're all excited about and one that will be broadcast live on TV, so I'm delighted one of our most loyal sponsors will receive such fantastic exposure."
Val Sheppard-Evans added: "I've supported Shrewsbury Town since I was young and attend as many games as I possibly can.
"The FA Cup, particularly the third round, is really special, so we're proud to support the club in this way.
"It'll be wonderful to see the players wearing our logo when they run out at Molineux. Hopefully it brings them luck and they produce a result that makes all Salop fans proud."
