Loyalty Points on Fanbase

We are pleased to say that supporters can now transfer tickets and loyalty points between each other on the new Fanbase ticketing system. 

This article will explain how loyalty points are accrued. 

There is also a guide that shows supporters how to assign points to others.

LOYALTY POINTS

Loyalty Points are calculated as one point for a home game per ticket purchased and two points for an away game per ticket purchased. As normal, season ticket holders get 23 points at the point of purchase.

On previous systems, you earned one point per home ticket purchase, no matter how many you purchased. This system gives you one point for every home ticket purchased and two points for every away ticket. 

So, if you buy four tickets for a home fixture and do not share your tickets with others (via your Fanbase account), you will receive four points against your account for that fixture.

This is ideal for families.

If you decide to share a ticket with another person (using the guide below), that point will also transfer as soon as they have accepted the ticket in the app or in their account.

If you have bought a group of away tickets as the ‘lead customer’, all tickets for that order will still be under your name for collection. 

If you are a family attending matches, the person who regularly purchases for a friend group could purchase all the tickets for individual matches and all loyalty points will be assigned to your account. 

When we come to a game that requires a sales schedule based on loyalty points (a bigger cup game, for example), the club will assign a loyalty point value against each ticket for that game. You will be able to purchase tickets based on the amount of loyalty points in your account.

For example, you have 40 loyalty points accrued and we have a cup game where the loyalty point value is set to 10 points per ticket required, you will be able to purchase four tickets.

This allows a parent who is bringing children to the game to accrue loyalty points without having to register every child.

It also means that you should be able to get tickets for everyone who usually comes.

The club will do its best to make the loyalty point values fair and realistic as and when they come around.

If you buy tickets and want to assign them so others get the points, those you wish to share points with must be registered on Fanbase at www.shrewstickets.com.

For a group purchase that you want to share points on, follow the step-by-step guide below.

STEP-BY-STEP GUIDE ON TRANSFERRING LOYALTY POINTS

1.    Make the initial purchase of tickets under your account for the relevant number of tickets.

2.    Then, once the purchase is complete, go to your wallet and find the ticket/s you need to transfer to someone else, therefore sending them the points too. 

3.    Go to the first ticket you want to transfer and look for the TRANSFER TICKET wording at the bottom of the screen and click.

4.    Select the ticket/points you want to transfer.

5.    Click NEXT. If you have transferred tickets previously, the recipient's name should show on the list of options. Just click the name and then SEND and they will receive a ticket to their wallet. They must accept the ticket otherwise the system won't show the ticket and new points balance.

6.    If you have not sent tickets to the recipient before, just click on TRANSFER VIA LINK. Then open WhatsApp or another messaging service and copy in the ticket transfer code. Once the recipient clicks on this link, they will be taken to their Fanbase wallet, where they will be asked if they want to accept the transferred ticket. The next time you send a ticket to this person, they will show in your options drop-down list

7.    Remember that the person sending the tickets/points and the person receiving the tickets/points both must be registered at www.shrewstickets.com before you can complete the transfer.
