Match Report
Goals from John Marquis, George Nurse and Max Mata saw Shrewsbury secure a 3-0 win over Kidderminster.
Town had already enjoyed victories at Stoke, Leamington and AFC Telford during pre-season.
And the winning run continued for our first home friendly, with Michael Appleton's side convincingly beating Kidderminster at the Croud Meadow.
Town went into the break ahead thanks to a brilliant finish from Marquis.
In truth, it should been more at half-time. But Nurse and Mata both produced fine finishes in the second half to give Salop a scoreline they more than deserved.
Team news:
Boss Michael Appleton stuck with a 3-5-2 formation for the visit of a Harriers side under the guidance of Adam Murray.
Toby Savin continued in goal with Joe Morris, Toto Nsiala and Will Boyle making up the back three.
Luca Hoole and Mal Benning were deployed at wing-back with Sam Clucas, Alex Gilliead and Taylor Perry making up the midfield three.
Up front, John Marquis was partnered by Callum Stewart.
Report:
It was Town who flew out the blocks at the Croud Meadow - with Marquis opening the scoring in the third minute thanks to a wonderful finish.
Boyle played a pin-point ball over the top that found the striker.
And from just outside the box, Marquis then did superbly to lob the ball over the keeper and into the back of the net.
Ten minutes later and Marquis was close to turning provider when he skillfully brought down a raking ball into the box before cutting back for Hoole.
The wing-back then hit a powerful effort towards goal that was well blocked by goalkeeper Christian Dibble.
The chances continued to come for Town as the half reached it's midway point.
Gilliead played a lovely ball to slip Marquis in on goal only for the striker to be denied by the outstretched leg of Dibble.
Gilliead then came close to an assist again when he cut the ball back for Hoole who was again kept at bay by the keeper.
Salop made a double change at the interval with George Nurse and Isaac England replacing Boyle and Gilliead.
It was Harriers, though, who had the first chance of the half with Jason Willoughby forcing Savin into a good stop with a fierce strike from distance.
Town came close to a second just before the hour mark. Perry burst into the box before drilling a low drive narrowly past the post.
Willoughby then forced Savin into another good save - with the goalkeeper making a smart stop at the feet of the forward.
On 60 minutes, Max Mata replaced Stewart. Then on 7, Apopleton gave an opportunity to a host of Town's youngsters with Reuben Falding, Karsten Cairns, Jack Loughran and Will Gray all enterting the fray.
George Lloyd and Harrison Biggins also got some additional minutes under their belt.
And Lloyd almost got on the scoresheet instantly - with the striker seeing a close-range shot well blocked by a defender.
Town did make it 2-0 in the 82nd minute - and in some style.
Roughly 20 yards out, Nurse collected the ball. And he arrowed the sweetest of strikes into the bottom corner and beyond the reach of the keeper.
Both Town's goals had been quality.
And then Mata got in on the act with a strike just as good.
The forward produced some wonderful skill to bring the ball down in the box.
And he then cut inside his marker before firing into the back of the net.
