Boss Michael Appleton spoke to the media following Shrewsbury's win over Cambridge.

Goals from George Lloyd and Will Boyle saw Town pick up a deserved win at the Croud Meadow.

Lloyd was key to each goal - with the striker winning possession high up the pitch in the lead up to both strikes.

Speaking post-match, Appleton discussed what was a comfortable victory for his side.

The boss also praised Lloyd's performance and his team - with Salop restricting the visitors to very little over the course of the 90 minutes.
