Boss Gavin Cowan met with the media following the game against Colchester.

A Will Goodwin strike and rocket from Arthur Read won it for Danny Cowley's side at the JobServe Community Stadium.

It was those moments of quality that really proved to be the difference on the day with Salop consistently getting into dangerous areas.

But that final bit of quality just wasn't there when it mattered with Gavin's men seeing a number of promisng oppertunities come and go.

Speaking to the media post-match, the boss praised the players for the progress they have made in his 10 days at the club.

Gavin also discussed Kevin Berkoe's debut and gave an update on our search for a new goalkeeping coach.
