Post-Colchester | Michael Appleton
A frustrated Michael Appleton met with the media following the game against Colchester.
Goals from Samson Tovide and Kyreece Lisbie won it for Danny Cowley's side at the Croud Meadow.
Salop were on top in the first half and created enough to go into the break ahead.
But that opening goal eluded them - with Colchester getting it shortly after the re-start through Tovide.
Salop's hopes of taking something from the game then took another blow when Tommy McDermott was given a controversial red card.
A fortunate deflection then allowed Lisbie to wrap the points up for The U's.
Speaking post-match, Appleton discussed the game and the impact falling behind had on his players.
The boss also gave his thoughts on McDermott's red card.
