Town boss Michael Appleton met with the press following tonight's draw with Grimsby Town.

The visitors opened the scoring from the spot as Charles Vernam sent Will Brook the wrong way in the 38th minute.

But Salop responded quickly as John Marquis powered home a header just before the break.

The result meant Salop extended their unbeaten home run to five games.

Michael discussed George Lloyd's versatility, with the striker also featuring at wing-back after Ismeal Kabia left the field with illness.

He also reflected on the FA Cup third round draw, which set up a tie away at Wolverhampton Wanderers.
