Boss Michael Appleton met with the media after watching his Shrewsbury side secure a crucial win over Harrogate.

Debutant Iwan Morgan caught the eye with a wonderful performance on the left wing.

But it was a sensational strike from Taylor Perry that secured all three points - with the midfielder finding the top corner with a brilliant strike from 18 yards.

Speaking to the assembled press, Michael said he was pleased with his side's overall performance but felt Town should have won by a greater margin.

The boss also talked about Morgan, Nick Freeman and Trey Ogunsuyi who all made their home debuts at the Croud Meadow.

And Michael gave a transfer update with head coach still hoping for more ins and outs before the January window closes.
