Anthony Scully spoke to the press after firing a stunning winner to sink Newport.

The forward’s brilliant strike was his fourth goal in five games and sealed a third consecutive home victory for Shrewsbury at the Croud Meadow.

His latest effort, though, was his best for Town so far, with the forward bringing the ball down on his chest before sending a half-volley into the top corner from 20 yards.

Speaking to the local media, Scully chatted about the goal and his impressive recent performances.

And the forward talked about Salop's recent upturn in form - with Michael Appleton's side having lost just one of their last six league games.
