Michael Appleton met with the press after Town suffered defeat away at Notts County.

Goals from Matt Dennis, Sonny Aljofree, Nick Tsaroulla and Conor Grant won it for the hosts, with John Marquis netting an excellent first-half header.

The boss expressed his disappointment with the goals his side conceded and said he won't shy away from our start to the season.

He also took responsibility for the performance and emphasised the importance of building from the back and keeping things tighter in defence.

Finally, he provided an update on Town's plans for the remainder of the transfer window.
