Post-Sutton | Michael Appleton
Boss Michael Appleton met with the media after watching his Shrewsbury side clinch a place in the third round of the FA Cup with a win at Sutton.
The National League side entered the game having won six of their last seven matches.
And in front of the television cameras, the hosts started well in south west London with Kai Jennings giving them a lead.
Shortly after, Salop were reduced to 10 men when Josh Ruffels picked up a second yellow card.
Town, though, didn't give up - with Ismeal Kabia scoring with a sensational strike in the 91st minute to bring Appleton's side back on terms.
John Marquis then won the tie in extra time after pouncing on a loose pass.
Speaking to the assembled press, Michael said he was far from happy with his team's first-half display.
But he praised their character for the improvement after the break - and for ultimately getting the job done.
