Michael Appleton insisted the win everyone at Shrewsbury Town is craving is just around the corner following what was a heartbreaking defeat at Swindon.

A 90th-minute effort from Callum Stewart - his first professional goal - should have seen Salop pick up what would have been a deserved point at the County Ground.

But the hosts grabbed a late winner through Billy Bodin to break Town hearts.

Speaking post-match, Appleton expressed his frustration that Salop didn't get the result they deserved.

But the boss also reflected on the positives in the performance, with the team looking much more threatening in the final third.
