Boss Michael Appleton covered a host of different topics at his pre-Barrow press conference.

The Gaffer met with the media this morning ahead of his side making the long trip to Cumbria.

Speaking to the assembled press, Michael insisted the team are very close to securing a positive run of results - with the boss determined that will start at Holker Street tomorrow.

The boss also gave an insight into a conversation he had with Anthony Scully this week, with the forward now fit again following a groin injury.

Other items on the agenda included the impact Chuks Aneke has had on the group, goalkeepers Will Brook and Elyh Harrison, and the potential for player trading despite the window being closed.

And the Gaffer also said how much is looking forward to seeing Andy Whing tomorrow - with Michael having given the now-Barrow boss his first coaching job in football.
