Michael Appleton discussed a number of different topics at his pre-Crewe press conference.

Town travel to Gresty Road tomorrow for the game which kicks off at 12.30pm and will be broadcast live on Sky Sports +.

Appleton's men enter the fixture looking to take their October form into November - with Salop unbeaten last month.

Speaking to the local media, Michael reflected on last weekend's FA Cup win at South Shields and the draw that will see us face Sutton in round two.

The boss also had praise for goalkeeper Will Brook - who has impressed after forcing his way into Town's starting XI in recent weeks.

And Michael gave an injury update after Tom Sang and Sam Clucas came off with knocks last weekend.
