Sam Clucas insists Shrewsbury are on the verge of a strong run of form as they gear up to face Harrogate tomorrow.

Town make the long trip up to North Yorkshire for what will be our first ever fixture at Wetherby Road.

Michael Appleton's side have seen performances significantly improve in recent weeks - with the highlight a thumping win at Barnet.

That was followed by a loss at home to Salford on a day where Town's overall performance should have warranted a point at the very least.

Speaking in the pre-Harrogate press conference, Clucas said all the players are taking heart from recent outings - with the 34-year-old confident that improved results are just around the corner.

Sam also discussed his role at left wing-back and the impact new recruits Bradley Ihionvien and Ismeal Kabia have had on the team.
