Michael Appleton met with the media ahead of our game against Newport tomorrow.

Town welcome David Hughes's side to the Croud Meadow - with the boss describing the game as a "huge opportunity" to kick-start another unbeaten run.

Salop had gone five games without defeat before last weekend's loss at Crewe - with October's form seeing Michael nominated for the EFL Manager of the Month award.

Speaking to the assembled press, Michael said he is eager to see another home win - with his side having won their last two outings at the Croud Meadow against Cambridge and Crawley.

The boss also discussed the impact Josh Ruffels had had on the team since his arrival last month and praised Town's fans who have travelled around the country in recent weeks to give the team fantastic support.
