Boss Michael Appleton sat down with the media following what has been a busy few days at the football club.

Yesterday, the club confirmed it is close to entering into an exclusivity period with a prospective new buyer.

That news came just a few days after director of football Micky Moore left the club by mutual consent.

Speaking to the press, Appleton discussed the latest takeover developments and provided a transfer update, stressing his desire to strengthen the squad and move players on before the window closes.

And the boss also reflected on tomorrow's trip to Notts County.
