Town boss Michael Appleton met with the press ahead of tomorrow's trip to face Oldham Athletic.

Salop travel to Boundary Park looking to continue their fine October.

Two wins, a draw and a 100% clean sheet record this month have seen Michael's side close the gap on those above them in the table in recent weeks.

One of those sides Town are gaining ground on are tomorrow's opponents, who sit just three points ahead of Salop under our former manager, Micky Mellon.

Michael discussed what he expects from Oldham and said how impressed he has been with Luca Hoole since he moved the defender to centre-back.

He also revealed that Bradley Ihionvien is having an operation on his meniscus injury later today.

Finally, the gaffer said Tom Anderson could make his return to the squad after suffering an injury that has kept him sidelined for the past four weeks.
