Shrewsbury Town boss Michael Appleton believes tomorrow’s meeting with Salford is an ideal test for his side as they aim to build on a positive week.

Salop welcome Karl Robinson's side to the Croud Meadow on the back of putting in an excellent performance to win at Barnet last weekend.

That victory was then followed by the arrival of Chuks Aneke on Monday - with the striker joining Town in order to work with Appleton once again.

Speaking in his pre-Salford press conference, the head coach discussed the past week, the victory over Barnet and how pleased he is to add Aneke to his ranks.

And the boss also talked about goalkeepers Elyh Harrison and Will Brook - with Harrison impressing for England U20s last week while Brook caught the eye at Barnet.
