Boss Michael Appleton chatted to the media ahead of our FA Cup first-round tie at South Shields.

Salop travel to the North East tomorrow for the game which kicks off at 12 noon on Sunday, and is being broadcast live on TNT Sports.

Speaking to the press ahead of the match, Michael reflected on a successful October that has seen Town win two and draw two of their last four games - keeping three clean sheets in the process.

The boss also reminisced about his FA Cup memories and chatted about the threat of South Shields, who currently sit top of National League North.
