Forward Anthony Scully met with the press ahead of tomorrow's trip to Tranmere Rovers.

Salop head to Birkenhead for their first away game of the 2025/26 campaign, where they will be backed by over 1,000 travelling supporters!

Scully, who signed for Town last week, explained how good it felt to play his first game for the club last weekend - in which he impressed.

The forward played up top alongside John Marquis and while he enjoyed the experience, he said more will come from the duo as the season progresses and the team gets used to how Michael Appleton wants to play.

He also praised the travelling faithful for their efforts ahead of our game at Prenton Park.
