Shrewsbury Town Delivers Special Driving Experience for Brave Young Fan
Shrewsbury Town recently made a dream come true for one of its bravest young supporters by arranging a special driving experience - a moment that brought smiles, excitement, and unforgettable memories.
Town fan Zack Beard, who has been diagnosed with cancer, is a huge Salop fan and also has a passion for cars.
During his time in hospital, Zack was visited by Town stars Luca Hoole and John Marquis - a visit made even more memorable when the youngster beat both players at a game of darts!
Later in the season, Zack was invited to the Croud Meadow, where he got the chance to watch the first team train under head coach Michael Appleton.
It was there that Luca and John revealed a very special gift: a driving experience with PSR, the UK’s home of supercar driving.
In partnership with the club, PSR made it possible for Zack to take the wheel of a real car for the very first time - despite being just 13 years old.
He headed to their track in Stafford, where he was greeted with an incredible lineup of high-performance supercars, cheered on by his proud family.
