Shrewsbury Town snap up Isaac Lee!

First Interview | Isaac Lee

Shrewsbury Town are delighted to have beaten off competition from several EFL clubs to secure the signing of highly rated defender Isaac Lee, subject to international clearance.

The 22-year-old arrives in Shropshire from Welsh Premier League side Flint Town for an undisclosed fee.

Isaac, who has dual English and South Korean citizenship, will wear the number 23 shirt for the remainder of the 2025/26 season.

Boss Michael Appleton said: "Isaac is very athletic. He’s got good pace and can deal with the ball really well. He can also play in numerous positions.

"The move is clearly a step up for him. But for someone his size and stature, who is as comfortable on the ball as he is, this was a no-brainer.

"We are really looking forward to working with him. We feel we can improve him as a defender and help him get better and better.

"It’s an exciting one for the football club."

Isaac trained with his new team mates for the first time earlier today.

He then sat down with the Salop media team for a first interview.
