Josh Ruffels joins Salop!

Shrewsbury Town are delighted to announce the signing of Josh Ruffels, subject to EFL approval.

The 31-year-old has joined Salop to reunite with boss Michael Appleton - with the duo having previously enjoyed success together at Oxford.

A versatile player, Ruffels can play at wing-back, in central defence and in midfield, and has spent the vast majority of his career playing in either the Championship or League One.

Ruffel, who will wear the number 25 shirt for Town, trained with Salop earlier today. He also met with the local press to discuss his move.
