Shropshire Homes to sponsor all three Shrewsbury Town shirts next season

Shrewsbury Town are delighted to announce Shropshire Homes will be our front-of-shirt sponsor for our home, away and third kits next season.

It means the award-winning property developers – who have been building quality homes in the county since 1981 – have now been sponsoring the club for almost 40 years.

The partnership began in 1986, sparked by the vision of Shropshire Homes chairman Howard Thorne and former company director Phil Northwood, both lifelong Shrewsbury Town supporters.

Wanting to give back to the club they love, the pair saw sponsorship as the perfect way to show their support and raise awareness of their growing business.

In recent seasons, Shropshire Homes have been the proud sponsors of our away and third shirts.

Now, we’re delighted their commitment has been extended to include the home shirt, completing a full-kit sponsorship for the season ahead.

Shrewsbury Town chief executive Liam Dooley said: "We are delighted to welcome Shropshire Homes as our front-of-shirt partner for all three kits next season.

“Their support over many years has been fantastic and we are extremely proud to have extended our partnership with a proud local business.

“We look forward to unveiling the first of three kits this season with their logo on the front later this week.

Shropshire Homes Chairman Howard Thorne said: “Shropshire Homes have been building quality houses in and around the county for over 40 years and have supported Shrewsbury Town for most of that time.

“Our first sponsorship was in 1986, against Chelsea in the FA Cup, and we have been supporting the club ever since.

“Having proudly sponsored the youth team and away shirts for a number of years we are now delighted to have our name on the front all of the clubs shirts.

“We look forward to a successful season under Michael Appleton.”
