Six scholars head on loan to non-league

We can confirm six youngsters will embark on loans as the 2025/26 season gets underway.

Third-year scholars Joe Morris, Karsten Cairns and Jack Loughran will all head into the non-league pyramid while continuing to work closely with Michael Appleton and his staff in midweek.

Meanwhile, academy defender Reuben Falding, midfielder Shayne Byrne, and forward Jay Snook become the first of this year's under-18s to head into men's football.
