Town duo visit foundation Wellbeing Hubs' Christmas lunch

Josh Ruffels and Anthony Scully visited the Shrewsbury Town FC Foundation's Wellbeing Hubs' Christmas lunch this afternoon.

As part of our ongoing dedication to support our community, the duo spent the afternoon chatting to members of our Dementia Hub, Parkinson's Hub, Military Hub, Extra-Time Hub and Health and Fitness Classes.

The pair also helped draw the raffle, dishing out a wide range of prizes including Shrewsbury Town merchandise, a hamper of sweet treats, bottles of wine and much more.

Shrewsbury Town CEO Liam Dooley and Shrewsbury Town FC Foundation CEO Shin Aujla also joined in the festivities.

From light exercise to quizzes and social activities, the foundation's hubs and social groups are a great way to stay connected and keep active.

Attendees can utilise our outdoor gym, play in regular walking football sessions, or, if you’d rather a more relaxed approach, they offer brain-boosting activities for you to work collaboratively on.

Of course, we’ll also always provide refreshments and someone to talk to!
