Under-17s drawn away at Crewe in PDL Cup

Shrewsbury Town Under-17s have been drawn away at Crewe Alexandra in the Professional Development League (PDL) Cup.

Salop are looking to retain their title, having won this competition at the Cardiff City Stadium in May.

The round of 16 clash will take place on Wednesday, December 3, at Crewe's training ground. Kick-off will be 2pm.

Town topped their group stage with a 4-1 win over Wrexham in late October.

This followed a 4-3 loss to Huddersfield and a 4-0 win over Sheffield Wednesday in the other group fixtures.
