Interview | Will Boyle joins Salop!

New recruit Will Boyle said Shrewsbury Town is the “right fit for him” after becoming our fourth signing of the summer.

The commanding centre-back sat down with the Salop media team after putting pen to paper on a two-year deal at the Croud Meadow.

With a host of clubs chasing Boyle's signature this summer, the defender revealed it was the feeling he got from meeting people at the club that led to him moving to Shropshire. 

He also discussed his time at Cheltenham – where he worked with our director of football, Micky Moore. 

And he touched on his hopes for the season ahead and how much he is looking forward to working with head coach Michael Appleton.
