Will Brook signs new 2.5 year deal with Shrewsbury
Shrewsbury Town are delighted to announce Will Brook has signed a new two-and-a-half-year deal with the club.
The former Leeds and Nottingham Forest youngster was snapped up by Salop in August on a deal until the end of the 2025/26 campaign.
Since arriving in Shropshire, the goalkeeper has gone from strength to strength, delivering a series of outstanding performances between the posts.
That excellent form saw Will win the club’s Player of the Month award for October - which is voted for by our supporters.
And he has now committed his long-term future to Town by signing a contract at extension at the Croud Meadow.
Boss Michael Appleton said: "Will has done incredibly well since coming into the football club.
"It was only three or four months ago that he was about to begin work as a builder with his dad and play part-time in non-league.
"But he has come in and really made the most of the opportunity he's been given.
"Will had to be patient at the start. But ever since coming into the team, he's shown a level of consistency beyond his years.
"Will has improved a lot in a short space of time and what’s really exciting is his potential to keep growing and developing.
"I’m delighted that his long-term future is with us."
