Wolves - Match day guide

Wolves have penned a matchday guide for supporters ahead of tomorrow's FA Cup third round clash at Molineux.

For the thousands of supporters who will be attending the 12.15pm kick-off, here is everything you need to know ahead of travelling to Molineux.

Shrewsbury Town Club Shop

The club shop at the Croud Meadow will be opening early on Saturday morning to allow supporters ample opportunity to get last-minute souvenirs ahead of the game.

It will open at 9am instead of the usual 10am, and will close at 4pm.

Key matchday information

With icy conditions and potential snowfall expected across the West Midlands in the run-up to Saturday, we strongly advise all supporters attending to allow extra time when making their way to Molineux and to also take extra care when travelling around the ground.

Away Supporters

Away supporters are located in the Steve Bull Stand lower tier for this fixture, and can enter the ground via turnstiles in block 3.

Visiting supporters should note that the dedicated away pub, Twelve, opens at 10am for this fixture.

Weather forecast

Partly sunny weather is forecast at Molineux on Saturday afternoon, with temperatures expected to be around two degrees Celsius at the time of kick-off.

An up-to-date weather forecast can be found here.

Travel advice and reported disruption

There has not been any reported disruption across public transport networks or any of the roads surrounding Wolverhampton and Molineux for this fixture.

However, trains from Shrewsbury to Wolverhampton appear to be few and far between, with plenty of options canceled on Friday.

Roads leading to Molineux are still expected to have ice overnight, so we recommend taking extra care and allowing extra time than normal to get to the stadium.

Bag policy

Due to a rise in related issues, supporters are reminded that any bag larger than A4 size will not be permitted at Molineux on matchdays.

For the avoidance of doubt, we strongly recommend not bringing a bag unless absolutely necessary. There are also no storage facilities available for bags at Molineux.

Entering the stadium

Supporters must enter via the turnstile block shown on their ticket or smartcard.

Security checks, including bag searches, will take place at the turnstiles. Bags larger than A4 are not permitted, and fans may be asked to open their own bags. All supporters aged 14 and over will be searched by a steward.

See Wolves' ground regulations for more details.

Molineux Fan Zone

Supporters can kick off their matchday in the Molineux Fan Zone - located next to Block 5 of the Sir Jack Hayward Stand, from 9am on Saturday, with live music, delicious food and drink.

Food and drink

Concourse catering kiosks will be open inside the stadium for this fixture, serving food, hot and cold drinks and alcoholic drinks.

A full list of the matchday catering options can be found in Wolves' Home Matchday Guide for the 2025/26 season.

Matchday programme

The official Wolves matchday programme for 2025/26 will be available to purchase outside Molineux before every match this season, with a 52-page edition focusing on the FA Cup third round clash.

Among many articles, there is a look at Shrewsbury's history in the FA Cup, as well as previous meetings between Shrews and Wolves in the historic competition, while looking at the key visiting players who could take to the Molineux pitch on Saturday afternoon.

A look at the best Wolves/Shrews moments from history and a preview of what Shrewsbury are expected to bring to Molineux is all available in the official matchday programme.

Programmes, priced at £4, are available to buy from the Molineux Megastore, from the various programme sellers around the stadium and from the catering kiosks. Supporters not attending the fixture can purchase online through programme retailers Curtis Sports.

Wolves matchday programmes are also provided and brought to you in audio format. Supporters can find the latest edition by following this link.
