Michael Appleton previews Chelsea Under-21s clash

Speaking ahead of our first EFL Trophy clash, boss Michael Appleton 

Town host Chelsea Under-21s tomorrow night in their first Southern Group C game.

In an interview with BBC Radio Shropshire, the boss said:

"We've got an opportunity to try and win a game of football and that's got to be our attitude going into it.

"Ultimately, there are a few players who are chasing form a little bit, so I've got to be mindful of that.

"Like I said, it's an opportunity to win a game of football and as they say in all sports, a win is a win.

"It's going to be a tough task because they're going to have a lot of talent on show and a lot of athleticism."
