Michael Appleton met with the press ahead of tomorrow's trip to face Walsall.

Town are back on the road after picking up a point at home to Grimsby Town thanks to a John Marquis goal in midweek.

Table-topping Walsall - managed by former Salop captain Mat Sadler - will pose a tough challenge for Appleton's men.

And the boss analysed that challenge in his pre-match interview.

He discussed Marquis' recent form and confirmed Will Boyle and Josh Ruffels are available for the fixture, while Sam Stubbs is suspended.

Tom Sang - who missed out in midweek with injury - will undergo a late fitness review.

The head coach was also asked about the possibility of incomings and outgoings ahead of the January transfer window.
