Michael Appleton looked ahead to what he hopes will be a positive 2026 at his pre-Chesterfield press conference.

The festive period kicks off tomorrow when Paul Cook's side head to the Croud Meadow - with Town looking to extend their five-match unbeaten run on home turf.

The fixture is the first of five games taking place in 16 days as the Christmas schedule goes into full swing.
