Michael Appleton met with the media following our pre-season win at AFC Telford.

Two smart finishes from Callum Stewart saw Salop make it three friendly wins from three at the New Bucks Head.

Appleton named a young starting XI against Town's Shropshire rivals - with the boss praising the battling qualities his youngsters showed.

But he was less pleased with the final 20 minutes - as the hosts pushed for a late equaliser.

As well as discussing the performance, the boss also gave a transfer update and provided some injury news on Tom Anderson, Tom Sang, Alex Gilliead, Max Mata and Ricardo Dinanga.
