Interview | Michael Appleton's off-season update

Michael Appleton sat down with BBC Radio Shropshire and the Shropshire Star yesterday morning to reflect on the off-season period and preview the coming months.

There was plenty to talk about as the gaffer reflected on a busy six weeks at the club.

He discussed the arrivals of Tom Anderson, Sam Clucas and Sam Stubbs - as well as explaining how Will Boyle fit into his recruitment targets despite the player not being announced until after the interview.

Michael also looked ahead to pre-season and our friendly fixtures.

Finally, he outlined his expectations for the 2025/26 campaign as we gear up for an important season in League Two.
