Interview | Josh Davison - Post-Aston Villa

He scored two brilliant headers to ensure Shrewsbury ended pre-season with a win.

And now Josh Davison is looking forward to the competitive action getting underway - with Salop facing Salford in the League Cup next weekend.

Josh netted his first Shrewsbury goals in our 3-2 win over an Aston Villa XI at the Croud Meadow on Saturday afternoon.

He then had a chat with the local media after the final whistle.

Josh discussed his summer move to Shrewsbury, explained how much he has enjoyed settling into life at the club and discussed the conversations he has had with manager Gavin Cowan since arriving.

Davison also spoke about his ambitions for the season ahead, both on a personal level and as part of a squad determined to make a positive start when the competitive action begins.
