Listen Live: New Match Commentary Service Launches alongside StreamAMG

Listen live: Shrewsbury Town launches match audio commentary on shrewsburytown.com

Shrewsbury Town supporters who can't make it to Salford City on Saturday can now follow every kick with live audio commentary, streamed directly from the club's own website for £2.50.

The Carabao Cup first-round tie at The AIG Stadium (Saturday 8 August, 3 pm) is the first match available through the club's new streaming service, built into the club's website in partnership with StreamAMG and Shoothill.

Supporters can buy a single match pass for Salford and listen in their browser on a phone, tablet or computer. Commentary is available for this fixture as audio only.

The club will confirm further streamed fixtures during the season as broadcast rights allow.

How to listen:

1.⁠ ⁠Create your account. Go to shrewsburytown.com and register with your email address. Click the link in the confirmation email to verify your account. If you already have an account on the site, just sign in.

2.⁠ ⁠Buy your match pass. Visit shrewsburytown.com/watch and select the Salford City commentary pass - £2.50. Pay securely by card.

3.⁠ ⁠Check it's there. Your pass appears immediately under My Account, alongside a "Listen live" button.

4.⁠ ⁠Listen from 2.50 pm. The button goes live ten minutes before kick-off. You'll find it on the Watch page, on the fixtures page and in My Account - tap it, and the commentary starts.

Good to know:

- One match, one payment. The £2.50 audio pass covers that fixture only. It isn't a subscription and won't renew.

- Audio only for this fixture. Saturday's coverage is live commentary, not video.

- Overseas supporters: video for League Two. Fans outside the UK, Ireland, the Isle of Man, Jersey and Guernsey can buy a video pass covering the club's League Two fixtures - £10 per match, £25 a month or £140 for the season..
It does not cover cup ties, so Saturday's Carabao Cup coverage is audio for everyone, wherever you're listening.

- Live only. Commentary is available while the match is on. There's no catch-up or replay afterwards.

- Buy any time before kick-off. The pass is yours as soon as you've paid; the listen button simply unlocks at 2.50pm.

- Signed in on the right account? Passes are tied to the account that bought them, so use the same email you paid with.
