Gavin Cowan - Interview | Post-Barnet

Manager Gavin Cowan met with the media after his Shrewsbury side suffered defeat at home to Barnet on matchday two of the League Two season.

Salop fell to a 3-1 defeat against Barnet, despite fighting back from an early goal down to draw level by half-time.

Jake Reeves broke the deadlock for the visitors before Josh Davison levelled matters for Town on the stroke of half-time, only for Charlie Lakin and substitute Tom Knowles to strike in the closing stages and seal the points for Barnet.

Speaking to the media post-match, Gavin reflected on a frustrating afternoon at Croud Meadow.

The boss also chatted about the goal that wasn’t given and the head injury to Sam Stubbs, amongst other things.
