First interview - Lino Sousa

Lino Sousa enjoyed a chat with the Salop media team after joining the club on loan from Aston Villa.

The wing-back, who can play on both the left and right, is our second addition of the day following the arrival of Kian McMahon-Brown for Burnley.

Despite being just 21-year-old, Lino arrives in Shropshire with a wealth of experience having previously enjoyed loan spells with Plymouth, Bristol Rovers and Rotherham.

He is also He has also represented England throughout the youth ranks, earning international caps from Under-15 level through to the Under-19s.

Speaking to the Town media team, Lino chatted about his career so far, including joining Arsenal in 2022 and then Villa in 2024.

He also discussed his international exploits and his hopes for the season ahead.
