Gavin Cowan enjoyed a busy afternoon with the media following his appointment as Shrewsbury head coach.

It was announced this morning that Gavin is the new Town boss with Dave Edwards and Jamie Haynes joining our new look management team.

The trio took training at Sundorne Castle before Gavin headed to the Croud Meadow for his press duties.

The boss chatted to BBC Midlands Today, ITV, BBC Shropshire and the Shropshire Star.

Chief executive Liam Dooley was also quizzed on matters on and off the field at the Croud Meadow.
