First Interview - Joe Gbode

New signing Joe Gbode sat down with the Shrewsbury Town media team after completing his season-long loan move from Luton Town.

An explosive striker with a trick up his sleeve, Joe completed his medical early this morning before heading to Sundorne Castle to train with his new teammates.

Having progressed through the academy at Gillingham, Gbode earned a move to Luton last year before arriving at Salop ahead of the 2026/27 campaign.

Speaking to the Town media team, Joe reflected on his journey so far, explained what attracted him to Shrewsbury and shared his ambitions for the season ahead.

He also revealed how he is balancing life in football with studying for a law degree through the Open University.
