Boss Gavin Cowan chatted to the Shrewsbury Town media team following the pre-season friendly at Stafford Rangers.
Town's first outing of the summer ended in a goalless draw - with boss Cowan opting to field two different teams in each half to ensure the vast majority of his squad got minutes into the legs
On another day, Salop would have won it with Tom Sang, Will Boyle and Jay Turner-Cooke all going close.
Speaking to the media team post-match, Gavin reflected on the game.
The boss also revealed we are close to announcing the signing of goalkeeper.
And our manager discussed the trip to the Isle on Man - with Salop setting off for a pre-season tour on Friday.
