Supporters Invited to Help Tell the Story of Shrewsbury Town at unique exhibition

Supporters will have the chance to take a journey through Shrewsbury Town’s history when the club continues its anniversary celebrations at the open day on Sunday, July 26.

As part of the event, the Arthur Rowley suite at the Croud Meadow will be transformed into mini museum-style exhibitions, each telling the story of a different era of the football club.

From cherished photographs to treasured memorabilia, the exhibition will offer supporters a unique opportunity to relive the people, events and achievements that have shaped Shrewsbury Town through the decades.

The club is now calling on supporters to get involved by loaning or donating items of historical significance.

Whether it is a programme, shirt, ticket, photograph or personal piece of club history, every contribution will help bring the exhibition to life and ensure the story of Shrewsbury Town is told by those who have lived it.

Items loaned for the event will be returned after the Open Day, while donated pieces could help form the foundations of a permanent museum at the Croud Meadow in the future.

The exhibition promises to be one of the highlights of the anniversary year, celebrating not only the club’s history but also the supporters whose memories and passion have helped write it.
