Shrewsbury Town travel to take on Salford in the Carabao Cup

Shrewsbury Town will travel to take on Salford in the first round of the Carabao Cup.

In a change to previous years, the Carabao Cup will be the curtain raiser for the season with the game set to take place on Saturday, August 8.

Our League Two campaign will then begin a week later, with another away trip – this time to Tranmere.
